It wasn't a Freeze Dog as the temperature hit the mid 60's and not a cloud in the sky. We had a real good time camping and cooking for the weekend.

We had 10 cooks whipping up Chili, Cornbread, Casseroles and plenty of desserts. We all were pretty lazy after this meal.

It was fun hooking with good friends and we missed those that could not attend.

We had plenty of visitors checking us out and they were pleasantly surprised at what could be made in a Dutch oven. We offered advice to some campers and made new friends too. We provided dinner for the Park Staff as they have been very good to us and we plan on cooking at Kings Mountain for many years to come.

Time to think about a Winter DOG? A Two State DOG? And spent the winter searching recipes for the upcoming DOG in the new year. ;)

See ya'll soon,
Dan
