Easy Dutch Oven Corn Chowder

1 Pound Bacon, chopped
1 Large Onion, chopped
6-8 Medium size Potatoes
3 Cups Water
3 Cups Milk
4 Cups Sweet Corn
1-1/2 Teaspoon Salt

Pre-heat the DO with about 20 coals on the bottom and 18 on top.
1. Fry bacon in the DO until crisp.
2. Add onion and cook until golden.
3. Add Potatoes and Salt - cook until Potatoes are tender (30-35 Minutes).
4. Remove half the coals and simmer slowly.
5. Add Milk and Corn - Simmer for 20-25 minutes until the Chowder is slightly thickened
