Hi Everyone,

Michael, I hope you make it.

Hi Diane. You'll be fine, I'll help you. That's what this weekend is all about. Sharing knowledge. We'll be up to speed quick.

You can use your new pot right after seasoning. The only NO NO is acidic foods like tomatoes on a new coating. I think Pot Pie will be fine along with your other dishes. Bring a bag of charcoal, we'll use plenty, plus I'll have a fire for more coals too.

If we all cook for four we will have plenty to share. I'm not sure what I'm going to make, but I've got it narrowed down to a Cajun Hot Pot or Enchilada Casserole. And Banana Boats for Dessert.

Oh, Yeah, What about breakfast? I'm planning on Mountain Man Breakfast. Then I figure I'll experiment with pie iron sandwiches for lunch.

We'll adjust our watches and shoot for a 6 pm dinner.

Looking forward to this weekend.

Hi Everyone,

I would like to thank all the cooks that prepared some great food.

Outlaw, your recipes were GREAT. Oh yeah, Mrs Outlaw thanks for coming too.

We had 4 cooks and nine dishes along with guest. I think it was very successful.

The smell of good food coming from our campsite was attracting others from the campground to see what we were doing. Made some new friends and hope to do this again soon.

Thanks,
Dan

A contingency of tndutchoven.com had a small collection of cooks gather at Panthercreek SP in Morristown, TN We had 5 cooks, and 9 pots foe saturday. We started cooking Friday and went thru Sat. nite.
Some non attending campers enjoyed the fruits and smell as well. A lot of curiosity seekers.
We had a great time.
