What you need to make one gallon of Sweet Tea.

3/4 cup sugar
3 large tea bags - Luzianne Family Size
One Gallon Container

In a one gallon container add sugar and fill half way with warm water, the water should be warm to the touch. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Add the three tea bags to the container. hold strings up and over edge and snap on lid. This will make getting the tea bags out easier. Let sweet tea stand for about an hour. Remove tea bags, do not squeeze the tea bags as this will make it bitter. Fill the container with cold water to the one gallon mark.

Serve over ice. Can also be served with lemon or crushed mint leaves.

Use a half teaspoon of sugar and two fresh mint leaves, lightly bruise leaves with the back of a spoon, to get the oils mixed in with sugar. Add sugar and leaves to Sweet Tea for a Southern Delight.
