SUNDRYED GOLDEN SYRUP DAMPER

INGREDIENTS

3 cups Self Raising Flour
1/2 tspn salt
2 tsp butter
2 tsp golden syrup (More refined than Molases)
1 cup Milk
2 tablespoons boiling water

Dissolve butter and golden syrup with boiling water, add milk, add to flour and salt, mix well so ingredients are combined, if not moist enough add a bit more milk. Form into round, bake in camp oven for 25-30 minutes at about 175C.


This is an Aussie style camping bread.
