I guess I'm not the blogger I thought I would be.
I've been cooking and testing new recipes for SouthEast Camper.
Heading up North for a Get Together with friend and will test my new recipes on them.

The weather is cool and sunny. A chance of rain later in the day, so we are going to stay inside and test a few recipes. We are working on backpack meals for a long day hike with the grand children. Check out our recipe webpages for updates.

What a great weekend as friends and family came over. Please check out my homepage for pictures. We made schredded BBQ beef sandwiches with grilled spuds and a cherry chocolate dump cake. Yum! I think I put on weight. Today we are cooking a turkey in a propane fired roaster should be good.

Good Morning,
We had really nice weather this weekend, so I cooked out for my family.
We chowed down pretty good. Beer Brats with buttered onion for lunch. For dinner we had bbq chicken with baked beans and scalloped potatoes. Yum!

Hello, Everyone
We've been fairly busy the past few weeks and the weather has not been favorable for outdoor activities, so I'm reading a lot about where to go and what to cook on our next day hike. If I get my way, we will do 2 days at South Mountain State Park in North Carolina.

Good Morning,
Just sitting in front of my computer and thinking about what to cook for the day’s big race festivities. Here in the southeast NASCAR is all the rage. Its pretty much what everyone talks about, it tends to have that holiday feel.
It is cold here this time of year so I’ll been cooking inside, but I’ll still be doing it with my cast iron Dutch oven. Wow, it just hit me, how about a simple family style pot roast with carrot, potatoes, celery and more. Yum! I gu.....

Hi,
My wife and I took the grand kids for a short 1.5 mile hike at the battlefield last Saturday. It was a good history lesson for all. The air was crisp, but sunny. The trees had drop all thier leaves and we got a little sunburned, it felt good.
